Graduates of the baccalaureate program in Civil Engineering will:
- Be involved, global citizens with a broad appreciation of the key civil engineering issues and challenges of the 21st Century
- Be competent professional engineers, literate in both problem identification and problem solving, including design.
- Be leaders in the profession, including civil engineering practice, societal activities, research, licensing, and ethics.
- Be broadly educated with a foundation in math, science and engineering and engaged in life-long learning
- Be adept communicators, skilled in teamwork, who thrive in the modern workplace and the public forums of civil engineering practice
